Education for Diabetes

My best friend has had diabetes since she was 8.Last night she had a couple drinks and got kinda drunk. She is only 15. She wants to know why its so bad and why I’m mad. I need a good reason, all I know is its not healthy and not helping her condition.

A friend of mine’s husband was cured of diabetes naturally through diet, nutrition, and most especially, detoxing. I have been out of touch with my friend for a while now, but I never found out what detoxing is and if there is any special nutrition.

I have a sister that has diabetes, im really hoping that scientists will find a cure very soon.

I know there are treatments for diabetes but I do not know the reason on why you can not cure diabetes, any type of diabetes. Please Help! Thank You.

okay, that sounds like i want diabetes. I DO NOT want diabetes! I just have been eating a lot of sweets and am trying to cut down the sweets-intake. i’m at a healthy weight range, etc. but i know that even super skinny people can get diabetes. so just wondering, am i in danger? How many sweets until it could be that i have diabetes?

There seem to be cookbooks that are specific to Type 2 diabetes. Does this mean there’s a difference in the kind of diet that Type 1 and Type 2 sufferers need to follow?

Is it going worsen insulin resistance and cause diabetes? My mom wants to try osteobiflex which has glucosamine, but I am concerned about it causing permanent diabetes. I saw on a site that says preliminary Research says yes, but later research refute the findings. If someone can show me a link to a study that would be great too. Thanks.

I know someone with diabetes and he eats quite a lot of sweets and stuff, but then I know someone else that wont eat sugar at all..so what are the limits?
